The Tribulation Described in the Book of Revelation Part 1
A message the early disciples were not able to bear
Introduction
This article is part 1 of a multi-part series about the Tribulation in the Book of Revelation. It is very different and a departure from traditional interpretations. Many believe that the Tribulation already happened with the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. or it will happen at a time that is still yet future to us. But what does the Revelation of Jesus Christ say about it?
In this series, I will explain that the Tribulation, portrayed by the seven trumpets in John’s vision that Jesus Himself gave to him, reveals that it neither happened in 70 A.D or is future to us. In this vision, Jesus gives further details that He withheld from His disciples in the first century:
John 16:12 (CHV) I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.
The word bear means to carry a burden. Jesus knew that He did not need to trouble His first century Church with details about their deliverance from the Great Tribulation at the end of the age, almost 2000 years later. He knew the trials that awaited them and how difficult it would be for them to prevail if they were preoccupied with escaping the battlefield prematurely.
The vision
Even though Jesus gave the vision of the seven trumpets to John around 95 A.D., and it has been available to the church since then, it would take over 2000 years before it could be completely understood. Now that we are at the end of the age that Christ began on the Day of Pentecost, it is now time to understand what He chose not to say to His first century Church.
The vision is described, in seven chapters, as seven trumpets, beginning in Revelation 8:6, where seven angels prepare themselves to sound, and ends in Revelation 15:1, with the introduction of the Seven Plagues of God’s wrath. This alone tells us that the wrath of God is poured out after, not during, the tribulation.
From the vision, we learn that the Tribulation did not happen in 70 A.D. nor will it happen in a future seven year period that begins after the Church is raptured from the earth. It is happening now. The Great falling away is well underway and what we are presently enduring is the tribulation foretold by Daniel the prophet:
Daniel 8:23-25 (CHV) And in the latter time, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance (possessed with the spirit of the antichrist), and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
The antichrist is a spirit and not a person. Even though there will be an antichrist movement during the Tribulation, and will be lead by a king of fierce countenance as described above, it is a mistake to call that person the Antichrist. He will simply be leading those possessed with the antichrist spirit in a movement fomented by satan himself (See my article: The Antichrist is not a person here).
If you are still here however, don’t be alarmed. According to the the parable of the Wheat and Tares, it will not be the righteous who are raptured, but the wicked (Matthew 13:34-43).
Signs of the times
Jesus spoke to the Pharisees about the signs of the times:
Matthew 16:2-3 (CHV) When it is evening, you say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, It will be foul weather today: for the sky is red and threatening. O you hypocrites, you can discern the face of the sky; but can you not discern the signs of the times?
Jesus reprimanded these men for not seeing and believing the signs He had given them. He told them that they were better at meteorology than prophecy. They were doing a better job guessing at storms than seeing the clear evidence of His ministry.
An article from a prophecy website says it best:
They were the ones who studied the prophets day in and day out, whose writings all pointed to the Messiah’s arrival. They had waited four centuries since the last prophet, Malachi, had ended his ministry speaking about the coming messenger. They had witnessed the prophetic ministry of John the Baptist. John testified that Jesus was the Messiah, whose miracles they witnessed, and heard His wonderful teaching. Besides, they had been waiting expectedly for the Messiah to come. Why were they so blind? No generation before had all the signs. No generation before had the proof, and still they were unable to see it. (http://www.understandingbibleprophecy.org/2018/05/the-last-generation/)
Not to suggest that the Church is like those Pharisees Jesus was talking to, but the confusion they had about the signs of the times is just as prevalent today. Jesus described those signs in Matthew chapter 24, but looking to the natural world only to understand them is still confusing people.

I am humbled, and simply want to say thank you for reading my substack.
I have written a book about the end times, under the pen name of Zachariah Topstone, entitled Christ Harbor. If you get the book (here), you will understand why I used that pen name. I am not happy with the price of the book because my publisher has greatly increased what I have to pay for both the print and digital versions, which in turn affects the price at which I sell them. Because of this, I am working on a second edition (not available yet), that I hope will improve the message of Christ Harbor, and I plan to offer it for free as a PDF, to all paid subscribers who request it by email. This will apply to all new and existing monthly subscribers plus a 10 percent discount for new annual subscriptions.
Please note
I usually quote the King James Version of the Bible but I often change the verses to one degree or another. Some examples are, taking out the thees and thous or changing, for instance, the phrase them which to those who.
I have done it so often that I decided to warn my readers by identifying that it is my own version by including CHV (Christ Harbor Version) instead of KJV (King James Version) after the Bible reference. That way, if you want to, you can check to see what has been changed.
As always, my goal in all my articles is not just to tell you what I think, but to give you enough information so that you can make up your own mind.
Preparing for battle
In the vision of the Seven Trumpets, Jesus reveals crucial information that was not included by any of the New Testament writers nor in His teachings in Matthew 24 or His parables. It is like intel for the last days and without it, instead of answering the call to a last days battle for the Harvest, the Church today is apathetically languishing in confusion over it.
It is said that the most neglected book in the Bible is the book of Revelation. It is often regarded as a difficult and complex book to understand. Yet it is so important that God has attached to it a special blessing for those who read, hear and keep the things that are written therein:
Revelation 1:3 (CHV) Blessed is he who reads, and they who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things that are written in it: for the time is at hand.
So why would God ask us to “keep those things” if, as many claim, no one can really know for sure what it means? Sadly, because there are so many views about the book, a vast majority of Christians today have completely lost interest in trying to understand it. For them, it has become a complicated distraction. This in effect has eliminated important information about the tribulation that Jesus knew would be necessary to help us navigate our way through the end times.
Not to diminish the importance of understanding what Biblical scholars have to say, but if Jesus left us a revelation and He expects us to understand it, then doesn’t it make sense that He will reveal its meaning to us? But for Him to do that, we must receive revelation about it ourselves rather than looking only to what the experts have to say. They may believe what God has revealed to them, but we can’t live by their revelation; we must have our own. It is a subject that cannot be understood when explained by others only and, without it, uncertainty is keeping many from taking their rightful place in the coming Harvest of the earth:
1 Corinthians 14:8 (CHV) For if the trumpet gives an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?
Understanding terms
Many symbols appear in the Book of Revelation and there is a wide variety of opinion about what they mean. But two of them are critical because they are a key to understanding the entire book.
The Lord's Day
Revelation 1:9-10 (CHV) I John, your brother and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, like of a trumpet.
Not referring to a day of the week:
The New Testament writers never called Sunday the Lord’s day elsewhere in Scripture. This term became common only after the apostolic age. Even though most take this to be the "first day of the week", the entire book is about those things which must "soon come to pass" for the Church in the "last days". It is not implausible that instead of referring to the "first day of the week", it is indeed referring to the "Day of the Lord". (Thomas Constable, commentary on the Book of Revelation)
Since the Apocalyptic Day of the Lord occurs at the end of the age, the phrase things that will shortly come to pass (Rev 1:3) refers to the things that will occur at that time and not in the first century when it was written.
The Church today urgently needs to understand what Jesus was saying in His vision of the seven trumpets to John. As we look into it, we will learn that things are not going to end in disaster as satan would have us believe. The single most important message that Jesus revealed in this vision is that He intends to destroy all of satan’s earthly kingdoms through His Church in the last days but before the Second Coming of Christ.
Daniel 2:44-45 (CHV) And in the days of these kings (of the last days), the God of heaven will set up (establish) a kingdom that will never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. Just as you saw that the stone, cut out of the mountain without hands (God’s fifth kingdom), and break in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold (world empires), so the great God has made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter (in the last days): and the dream is certain, and the interpretation is trustworthy.
The number seven
Seven is used 16x throughout the book:
7 churches Rev 1:11, 7 golden lampstands Rev 1:12, 7 stars Rev 1:16-20, 7 torches of fire Rev 4:5, 7 seals Rev 5:1, 7 horns Rev 5:6, 7 eyes Rev 5:6, 7 angels Rev 8:2, 7 trumpets Rev 8:2, 7 thunders Rev 10:3, 7 thousand Rev 11:13, 7 heads Rev 12:3, 7 plagues Rev 15:1, 7 golden bowls Rev 15:7, 7 mountains Rev 17:9, and 7 kings Rev 17:10
When the same number appears so many times, it is likely that the number itself is not literal. Of course there were seven churches but, in this case, the number seven does not refer to a quantity but to what it represents. And in this case, it symbolizes completeness. So, even though there are specific messages to seven churches, together they represent a complete message from Jesus to His Church during the tribulation of the last days.
The last days
Most would agree that what we see happening today reflects the tribulation that Jesus described in Matthew 24. Mass shootings, out of control crime, natural disasters and wars are now occurring around the globe, along with a tsunami of civil unrest. Most of this did not exist on a global scale when I was growing up:
People are deeply distraught over issues about abortion, gun control, climate change, and the bi-polar rhetoric used by the cancel culture to justify politically motivated judicial decisions. They are dismayed with the governmental perverse use of law enforcement and the military. They feel violated by election fraud, media censorship, and the human rights violations of unscientific mandated vaccinations and forced lockdowns. They have grave anxiety about trillions of dollars of government debt, bank failures, and hyper-inflation. They suspect that shortages in the supply chain and impending energy and food supply disasters, may be engineered. They are alarmed by open borders, mass shootings, derailed trains, toxic spills, and the threat of power grid disruptions. They are dismayed with woke beliefs about the environment, crime, defunding the police, gender confusion, and drag queen shows for schoolchildren.
Paul described it over 2000 years ago:
2 Timothy 3:1-4 (CHV) This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of themselves, covetous, proud, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.
Jesus said, because of lawlessness in the last days, the love of many will grow cold.
God will intervene
The headlines in one recent article read, We Are Being Smashed Politically, Economically, Medically and Technologically by the Elite’s ‘Great Reset’: Why? How Do We Fight Back Effectively? (Robert J. Burrowes, globalresearch.ca, April 09, 2023)
This smashing has been going on for centuries and, by now, hundreds of thousands of books, articles, newsletters, podcasts, and social media videos have been published across the world, speculating about what can be done, politically or economically, to defend ourselves from this war against humanity. However, because of election fraud and political corruption, many have given up and now believe that these solutions will not stop what is happening. And, even if it could be stopped, there is no way to ever repair the damage that has been done. This is causing massive distress and social convulsion among the nations of the earth. Without hope, many are committing suicide. Even in the Church, many have great anxiety because they are worried about how much suffering they will have to endure before the Rapture.
Not to dismiss what is happening to our natural world, but I am writing these articles because satan is a liar and he is using this elaborate smashing noise to distract us. He wants to obstruct our understanding about his coming defeat and especially, when it will happen. We are already in the tribulation that Jesus described in Matthew chapter 24, and He has revealed in His vision of the trumpets, that He plans to stop satan from destroying our world. So satan wants that to be as far from our thoughts as he can get it.
But don’t give up! Even while World War III may be declared at any moment and the WEF is shouting about a great reset, or the Federal Reserve is on the brink of a digital currency, God has declared that He will stop all this noise:
Malachi 3:5 (CHV) And I will come near to you in swift judgment against the sorcerers, and the adulterers, against those who swear falsely, and those who oppress the hireling in his wages, against those who deprive the stranger from justice and those who don’t take care of the widow, and the fatherless, and do not fear me, says the LORD of hosts.
Malachi later describes it:
Malachi 4:1 (CHV) For behold, the day comes that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that comes shall burn them up, says the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Again, the phrase the day does not mean a date on the calendar, but rather a prophetic reference to the Day of the Lord. God will not only begin to intervene during the tribulation, but He will stop what is happening to us and fix the damage that has been done to our world.
Peter announced it in his sermon to those who had gathered after the cripple at the temple was healed:
Acts 3:19-21 (CHV) Repent therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And He shall send Jesus Christ, who before was preached to you: Whom heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, that God has spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
One of those prophets was Joel:
Joel 2:25 (CHV) And I will restore to you the years that the locusts have eaten…
But what most do not realize, is that the vision of the Seven Trumpets reveals that this is going to begin during the tribulation, before the pouring out of the seven vials of God’s wrath, and before Jesus returns at His Second Coming.
Obstacles to our understanding
What I have just written is huge! But before substantiating it with our study of the trumpets vision, we need to consider some of the problems that honest inquirers face in believing it.
Misconceptions
For example, those who believe in the rapture of the Church would agree that what is happening to our world today, fits the description of the Tribulation that Jesus was talking about. But they are obliged to ignore it, and will continue to do so, no matter how much worse it may get. They erroneously believe that whatever this is, it can’t be the Tribulation that Jesus talked about because God pours out His wrath during the Tribulation and the Bible says that the Church is not appointed to wrath (1 Thes. 5:9). So they reason, the Church must be removed from the earth before the Tribulation begins.
The only problem is, all the misery that the world is enduring today is not because of God’s judgement. That does not happen until after the Tribulation, when the Seven Vials of God’s Wrath are poured out on satan’s kingdom. What we are experiencing today is not the wrath of God, but the wrath of satan. He is in a rage because he knows that his time is short and he is the one causing all the evil that we are now having to endure.
They also erroneously believe that the parable of the fig tree, given by Jesus in His discourse about the last days, would be a sign that Jerusalem would be restored to Jewish sovereignty at that time:
Luke 21:25-31 (CHV) And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things that are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption is near. And He spoke a parable to them; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees, when they shoot forth, you know that summer is near. So likewise, when you see these things come to pass, know that the kingdom of God is near at hand.
This is Luke’s version of the Matthew 24 prophecy, but notice that the parable is not restricted to the fig tree, but to all the trees. Also, His comments about Jerusalem being surrounded by armies (v20) happened in 70 A.D. and is not referring to what will happen to the Israel in the last days (Article ).
Doubts
But the truth is, it isn’t just those who believe in the Rapture of the Church who have difficulty interpreting the signs of the times. Others have doubts because there is so much disagreement about it.
Failed predictions of religion
The end of the world is alluded to over and over in both the Old and New testaments. Early Christians believed that Christ would return within their lifetimes, and that prediction has been revised over and over ever since.
For instance:
Christians in 17th-century Europe feared the end would come in the year 1666 because of the year’s association with the Biblical number of the Beast.
The Seventh Day Adventists movement began in the nineteenth century with a religious leader named William Miller who predicted that the world would end and Christ would return in 1843 and was later revised to Oct. 22, 1844.
Though he did not set a date, Billy Graham preached about the rapture in his crusades and most Bible Colleges and Seminaries promoted it throughout out the last half of the 20th century.
A Christian radio broadcaster, Harold Camping, began predicting in 1958 that the world would end. He revised the date as many as 12 times over the course of his life.
And of course there was the Maya Apocalypse that predicted that the end was supposed to happen during in 2012.
Failed predictions of science
People are not only disillusioned about the end of the world because of the failed predictions of religion, but also about the failed predictions of scientists. In 2000, the Y2K scare prompted anxiety that spread across the world as people feared that computer systems would shut down. Consequently, banking institutions, that relied on software programs to calculate daily interest, were at risk of system failure. As a result, stock prices in the banking industry dropped as the year 2000 neared. January 1st came and went with barely a whisper.
Not to dismiss the importance of our responsibility for the environment, but the world has become skeptical of climate change scientists who have made failed predictions that many now believe were politically motivated. They are suspicious of claims that the planet needs to be fixed by changing the climate. Rather, they see that it has caused panic at the highest levels of government around the world, cost trillions of dollars, and has hurt the poor.
For instance:
In 1972 the UN Environmental Protection Agency warned that we only have ten years to stop the catastrophe caused by man-made climate change.
In 1989, a senior UN environmental official warned that if we didn’t fix climate change by 1999, we would have a global disaster with nations wiped off the face of the earth with crop failures.
In 2004, a secret report warned Bush that climate change was a greater threat to the world than terrorism and would lead to nuclear conflict, mega-droughts, famine and widespread rioting across the world. It claimed that major European cities will sink beneath rising seas and Britain will be 'Siberian' in less than 20 years.
In 2006, Al Gore predicted that the global sea level could rise as much as 20 feet in the near future and that there would be no solving climate change if drastic measures weren't taken around the world to reduce greenhouse gases by 2016.
In 2007, the head of the UN climate panel announce that if there is no action before 2012, it will be too late.
In 2009, Al Gore again predicted that there was a 75% chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during some of the summer months, could be completely ice-free within the next five to seven years.
Again, in 2019, in support of their 2030 agenda, the UN warned that we only have 11 years left to prevent irreversible damage from climate change.
Understandably, the world and the Church have become weary with opinions about the signs of the times. But, knowing that this disillusionment would be wide spread in the last days, Jesus left a revelation, in His vision of the trumpets, for those with honest questions.
The final generation
But, misconceptions and doubts are not the only obstacles to interpreting the signs of the times. There is one additional obstacle facing us as we contemplate those signs that are now appearing everywhere:
Matthew 24:35 (CHV) Truly I say to you, This generation (that is alive at the time the signs appear) shall not pass, till all these things are fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Jesus is saying that those who are alive, when these signs appear, will be the final generation. This does not mean the last generation at the end of the world, but the final generation that will be alive when Jesus begins the restoration of all things.
Some believe that the prophetic clock stopped when Israel rejected Jesus as their Messiah and that, out of all the signs leading up to the end of the age, the controlling sign, that would start it again, occurred when Israel became a nation in 1948. They believe that the final generation that Jesus was talking about began when that happened. The problem is, a biblical generation is generally considered to be about 40 years and counting back from 2023, 1948 was 75 years ago.
Edgar Whisenant, a former NASA engineer and Bible student, believed that the final generation started in 1948 and so he was predicted in 1987 that the Rapture would occur in 1988, sometime between Sept. 11 and Sept. 13. He published two books about it: 88 Reasons Why the Rapture Will Be in 1988. Eventually, 300,000 copies of 88 Reasons were mailed free of charge to ministers across America, and 4.5 million copies were sold in bookstores and elsewhere.
As the great day approached, some may recall that there was a flurry of expectation about the return of Christ. In order to prepare their congregations, numerous sermons were preached in pulpits around the world, about how to prepare for the Rapture. In fact, regular programming on the Christian Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN) was interrupted to provide special instructions on preparing for the Rapture.
When the predicted Rapture failed to occur, Whisenant followed up with later books with predictions for various dates in 1989, 1993, and 1994. These books did not sell in quantity and Whisenant continued to issue various Rapture predictions through 1997, but gathered little attention.
It has never happened before
So, if the final generation did not begin in 1948, why is it so difficult to visualize the signs of the times pointing to when it does begin? Why can’t we see that those signs are appearing now and we are the generation that will see the fulfillment of the end of the age?
We understand that our generation is different from all others. No other generation has had the information we have. No other generation has seen the things we see. No other generation has had the ability to put the pieces together. So, why is it so difficult to imagine? Are we really just guessing? Are we in the same position as former generations, who anticipated Christ’s return in their lifetimes but never saw it?
Even with the signs of the times appearing everywhere, it is not surprising that Christians today struggle to believe that the end of the age is really here. It is the same problem the disciples had after Jesus was laid in the tomb. Jesus told them at least three times, before it happened, that He would be raised from the dead:
Matthew 20:17-19 (CHV) And while going up to Jerusalem, Jesus took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said to them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.
So, why weren’t they camping out in front of the tomb anticipating it? And when they were told that it had happened, they refused to believe it. The simple answer is that it had never happened before. No one came back from the crucifixion. Believing something like that, even when Jesus said He would do it, is something the natural mind cannot imagine.
Likewise today, believing that we are the final generation is just as challenging. Overcoming this problem requires more than just studying our way into it. It requires faith to believe it.
It is time to know
At His ascension, when the disciples asked Jesus about restoring the Kingdom to Israel, He told them that it was not not for them to know the times and seasons that the Father has set by His own authority (Acts 1:7). Their calling at that time was to go into all the world with the good news of the Gospel and make disciples of all nations. And so it has been for over 2000 years. But now that we are at the end of the age when Jesus said that, it is time to know the answer for those who are asking the same question.
The prophet Daniel prophesied that it would be so:
Daniel 12:10 (KJV) Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall continue to act wickedly and none of them shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
According to this, the wise will not have to speculate about the final generation that will witness those signs that Jesus described in Matthew 24. Figuring it out may not be easy, but confusion is a choice.
So why are most believing today that no one can really know for sure and that we can only speculate what the Bible says about it? We usually hear them saying, We will just have to wait until Jesus returns and then we will know. But this not what the Bible says. Jesus said that the time is at hand for those to be blessed who understand (read and hear) and keep this prophecy (Rev 1:3).
Conclusion
So, why would God want His Church here on earth during the tribulation? The simple answer is, to finish the war here on earth that He has already won in heaven. And more importantly, He wants to finish it through us. But the most important reason, and one that satan is desperate to obscure, is that God is going to do it during the Tribulation, before the Second Coming of Christ.
Over time, satan has changed our perception of time and our laws to obscure our understanding of these things:
Daniel 7:25 (CHV) And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time (prophetic symbol for the Church Age).
His goal throughout history has been to gain control of world power in the last days. He has now achieved that in our generation. In doing so, he is gathering a world-class army of antichrist fist shakers, whom he has convinced to blame God for the misery in their lives for which he alone is responsible. He has now moved many of them into positions of world influence and power. Now that we are at the end, he intends to use them to mobilize an army of God despisers, like themselves, that he can then use to fight us in the last-days battle for the Harvest (Rev. 14:14-20).
In case you missed it, this is the battle that we are presently fighting. And the vision of the Seven Trumpets in the Book of Revelation reveals that Christ will secretly transfigure His Church during this battle and give us new equipment to fight it. And according to the Parable of the Wheat and the Tares, this will be preceded by the rapture of the wicked from the earth:
Matthew 13:41 (CHV) The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil.
This is not the Second Coming of Christ. Zechariah the prophet described the transfiguration of the Church at this time:
Zechariah 9:14-17 (CHV) And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth like the lightning: and the Lord GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south. The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and conquer with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar. And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land. For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! Corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.
Every eye will not see this event but by the time it is over, every eye will witness Christ at His Second Coming after God finishes pouring out His wrath on satan’s kingdom.
According to the prophet Daniel, this final battle will not end well for satan:
Daniel 7:21-22 (CHV) I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; until the Ancient of days came, and judgment (the Glory of God) was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
Part 2
In 2016, James Rochford asked the question, “Are we headed for an hopeless end or an endless hope?” Far too many Christians today are confused about this.
This series is important because it answers this question. We are in the Tribulation right now and we are not running out of runway. After a 2000 year flight, we about to land the plane on the runway of endless hope. As I have already said, Jesus did not include this information in Matthew 24 or any of His parables. And, in his letters, the Apostle Paul didn’t either, since he was not privy to what John would write in the Book of Revelation some forty years later.
In part 2, we will look at the Seven Trumpets in John’s vision. Here I will substantiate some of the huge things I have said in this article. While most scholars believe that Revelation is not a sequential book, I will show my readers how I discovered a key, in the Interludes of the Book, that reveal that it is and that it provides a roadmap the concludes with an endless hope.
